Angel Beats is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key episodic for Windows PCs. The game is based on the 2010 television series anime Angel Beats!, Originally conceived by Jun Maeda, and scenes that appear in the anime was also adapted. The first of the six volumes, titled Angel Beats! Unbeatable -1st, was released on June 26, 2015, with a rating for all ages.

The story takes place in the hereafter and focuses on Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after death. He is enrolled in school past and meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the Afterlife Battlefront-leading organization fighting against God.

 The Battlefront fight the student council president Angel, a girl with supernatural powers. Angel Beats! It is a supernatural visual novel in which the player assumes the role of Yuzuru Otonashi. Much of the gameplay is spent on reading the narrative of the story and dialogue. The text in the game is accompanied by sprites of characters, representing that Otonashi is talking about art background. Throughout the game, the player encounters CG artworks at certain times in history, taking the place of the technical and substantive character sprites.

 Angel Beats! follows a branching storyline with multiple endings, and depending on the decisions that the player makes during the game, the plot will focus on a specific direction
